James Tye
CEO

James Tye took over as CEO of Dennis Publishing in January 2006. He has over 15 years experience in magazine publishing, with a strong background in both editorial and publishing disciplines. Before taking the job as CEO, James pioneered the launch of an entire portfolio of poker and gambling magazines at Dennis UK, which is now a market-leading, multi-million pound business.

James’ vision for Dennis is clear: turn Dennis Publishing into an innovative, brandcentric, 21st century media company with great editorial and content at its heart. His commitment to a content driven future is shown by the recent launch of Monkey, the world’s first mass market e-magazine. Using an innovative mix of rich media and page-turning technology, Monkey has taken the UK men’s market by storm.

James is part of a new generation of CEOs: focused on the future, as well as the bottom line. He values excellent editorial quality and has an in-depth understanding of digital and internet technology.
