Ralf Maltzen
Director of CRM and Internet Marketing

Ralf Maltzen is the Director of CRM and Internet Marketing at the Volkswagen AG headquarters. His day-to-day resposibilities include the direction and leadership of four teams involved in strategic and operational customer relationship functions. He accounts for the complete website and direct marketing of the Volkswagen brand. The Customer Relationship Strategy is developed in cross-function with other sales divisions driven by the CRM department.

After studying economics, Ralf began a career in marketing, starting up an online marketing agency, working within the automotive industry. He began with BMW, responsible for the activities of bmw.de.

Within Volkswagen AG, Ralf started his career by building up the e-commerce strategy and continues this work by developing the internet marketing business. The direct marketing supplemented his responsibility and today he has the leading function of strategic and operational CRM within the company.
