Brandt Dainow

Brandt Dainow has been involved with the web since its beginnings, building the fi rst commercial website in the UK in 1992. These days, he runs online marketing consultancy, ThinkMetrics, and is a recognised expert in web analytics and search engine optimisation. He works with companies to assess and tune their online marketing and sales processes. Brandt writes a popular column for the online marketing magazine, iMedia Connection. He also delivers seminars and training courses on web analytics. Brandt was a founder of the International Web Analytics Association and was one of the authors of the world’s fi rst professional Diploma in Web Analytics at the University of British Columbia, Canada. A passionate advocate of international standards, Brandt has been one of the leading forces in working to harmonise standards between WAA and related bodies such as the Internet Audit Bureau (IAB) and Audit Bureau of Circulation Electronic (ABCE).
